Do I Need a Visa to Visit Armenia?

Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport need a visa to visit Armenia.

Nationals of the following countries or places do not need a visa:
CIS (former USSR) countries, * EXCEPT Turkmenistan;
Korea DPRK, Serbia, Montenegro.

All other nationals will need a visa.

For stays over five months, an invitation letter is required. If you have an invitation letter to travel to Armenia, please make sure that your inviting party has verified the invitation for private travellers at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Service in Yerevan. Private traveller must submit the original invitation form with the visa application. You must also apply for a Temporary Residence Card at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Service of Armenia (13 A Mashtots Street, Yerevan, Armenia.)
