Do I Need Documents Authenticated & Legalized?

Most foreign countries require that Canadian documents be "authenticated and legalized" by the Canadian government and their embassy before the documents will be accepted in that foreign country.

This process is often referred to as Apostille or Apostilles in other countries.

Documents commonly authenticated & legalized include birth certificates, divorce decrees, resumes, CV's, diplomas, and commercial invoices. Many other documents can also be processed.

We will get your original Canadian documents notarized by a Canadian lawyer; then authenticated at the Canadian Government office in DFAIT; then legalized by the foreign embassy or high commission or consulate.
