Do I Need a Visa to Visit Bahrain?

Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Bahrain for the purposes of business or tourism. This visa is issued to Canadians upon arrival in Bahrain valid for a stay of two weeks.

Nationals of the following countries can obtain an entry visa valid for two (2) weeks upon arrival at an entry point in Bahrain without prior arrangement and without a local sponsor: CANADA, Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Britain, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Portugal, Malaysia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Greece, Monaco, San Marino, Singapore, Brunei, Vatican, Andorra, China, Thailand.

Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa: Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

All other nationals will need a sponsor and a visa.

Multiple Entry Business/Tourist Visa, valid for five (5) years, for four (4) week stays.
Processing: 8-10 working days   US$48

Single Entry Business/Tourist E-Visa, valid for two (2) week stay.
Processing: 2 working days   US$48
