Nationals of the following countries or groups do not need a visa: ECOWAS countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Congo Rep, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo. Also Angola, South Africa.

All other nationals will need a visa.

TRANSIT VISA

Travellers continuing to a third destination outside of Cape Verde do not require a visa provided they do not leave the airport and have proof of onward passage.
