Do I Need a Visa to Visit El Salvador?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport do not need a visa to visit El Salvador for the purposes of business or tourism.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, CANADA, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Qatar, Romania, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, San Marino, Sao Tomé & Principe, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Tuvalu, UK and territories, Uruguay, USA, Vanuatu and Vatican.
All other nationals will need a visa.
Nationals of the following countries should allow three to four weeks for visa processing, as their application will be referred to San Salvador for approval:
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Angola, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Botswana, China PRC, Colombia, Congo DR, Congo Rep, Cuba, Ecuador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Korea DPRK, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Authority, Peru, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Timor, Viet Nam, Yemen.
