Do I Need a Visa to Visit Guinea Bissau?

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports may not require a visa to enter Guinea Bissau for tourism or business stays, or may be eligible to acquire a visa upon arrival at a border post. It is recommended to acquire the visa in Dakar, Senegal, or Lisbon, Portugal prior to travel.

Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
ECOWAS countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Congo Rep, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.

All other nationals will need a visa.
