Do I Need a Visa to Visit Indonesia?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Indonesia for the purposes of business or tourism. Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport can apply for a thirty (30) day visa upon arrival at Jakarta International Airport for a fee of US$25.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
Nationals of the following countries can apply for a visa upon arrival in Indonesia:
Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, CANADA, Czech, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Netherlands, UAE, UK, USA.
Nationals of the following countries will require the authorization from the Indonesian Government in order to be issued a visa:
Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Bangladesh, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Cambodia, Congo, Cuba, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Israel, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mongolia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tonga, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen.
Nationals of the listed countries, and any not listed as exempt, must apply for a visa before travelling.
