Do I Need a Visa to Visit Kenya?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Kenya for the purposes of business or tourism or an African safari.

Nationals of the following countries or groups do not need a visa:
European Union (EU); (EXCEPT UK);
Commonwealth countries, (EXCEPT Antigua & Barbuda, Bangladesh, Belize, Cameroon, CANADA, Guyana, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, St Kitts & Nevis and Trinidad & Tobago);
Ethiopia, Malaysia, San Marino, Turkey, Uruguay.
Nationals of the following countries need a visa:
European Union (EU);
Commonwealth countries (EXCEPT as noted above);
CANADA, Australia, Japan, UK, USA.
All other nationals not listed will need a visa.
BUSINESS VISA
This visa allows the holder to attend conferences, workshops, seminars or discussions. It does not mean that the holder of a business visa is allowed to work in Kenya. Those who wish to conduct temporary business in Kenya lasting up to three months require authorization from Immigration Headquarters in Nairobi in form of a Special Pass. You can apply for a Special Pass after entering Kenya.

TOURIST VISA - VISITOR VISA
This visa allows the holder to visit as a tourist and to go on a safari while in Africa.

TRANSIT VISA
Single Entry Transit Visa, valid for three months
