Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Mauritania.

Nationals of the following countries may not need a visa: ECOWAS countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Congo Rep, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.

All other nationals will need a visa.

Single Entry Visa, valid for up to three (3) months
Regular: 10-15 working days   US$100

Multiple Entry Visa, valid for up to six (6) months
Regular: 10-15 working days   US$150
