Do I Need a Visa to Visit Nicaragua?

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Nicaragua for tourism or business stays under thirty (30) days.

Canadians can buy a Tourist Card (visa) good for a stay of up to thirty days upon arrival in Nicaragua for US$10.

Nationals of the following countries need a visa:
Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Armenia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Cameroon, China PRC, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Haiti, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Korea, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Vietnam, Yemen.
