Do I Need a Visa to Visit Oman?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports need a visa to enter Oman for all purposes. This is issued at the airport upon arrival.
Nationals of the following countries no not need a Short Visit Visa, prior to arrival, to enter and remain in Oman for up to thirty (30) days, as it is issued upon arrival at Seeb International Airport: Australia, Brunei, CANADA, China PRC, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Turkey, USA.
Nationals of the following countries can get a Tourist Visa without a sponsor: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, CANADA, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus Czech, Denmark Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Austria, Iceland Indonesia, Ireland, Italy Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunis, Turkey UK, USA, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela.
Nationals of the following countries need a sponsor to get a Tourist Visa: Albania, Bosnia, Byelorussia, China, Egypt, Iran, India, Jordan, Morocco, Russia, Syria, Ukraine.
All other nationals will need a visa.

SINGLE ENTRY VISIT VISA
This visa combines the old tourist visa, business visa and short visit visa which now cease to exist. This visa is granted to foreign businessmen at the request of a local sponsor and on his responsibility in order to hold commercial negotiations or carry out a task which may develop the commercial relations between trade establishments or between an importer and an exporter.
Single Entry Business Visa, valid for use within six months
