Do I Need a Visa to Visit Russia?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Russia.

Citizens of the Russian Federation, regardless of any other citizenship they have, must travel to Russia on valid Russian documents only.
Nationals of all countries and places require a visa to enter Russia. Prices for foreign nationals vary by country. Please enquiry for the price applicable to your nationality.
Nationals of the following countries or zones must abide by special visa requirements: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain.
- a proof of travel insurance issued by an insurance company having a partnership agreement with a licensed Russian insurance company, (or)
- a written confirmation of full medical coverage from Russian hosts.
