Do I Need a Visa to Visit Taiwan?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Taiwan for tourism or business stays under thirty (30) days.
Canadians must have a confirmed departure ticket, and be arriving at either C.K.S. International Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport, Keelung Harbor, Hualien Harbor, Taichung Harbor and Kaohsiung Harbor.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
European Union (EU), *EXCEPT Cyprus, Czech, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia;
Australia, Brunei, CANADA, Costa Rica, Iceland, Japan, Korea Rep, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, UK, USA.
All other nationals will need a visa.
