Do I Need a Visa to Visit Turkey?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport need a visa to enter Turkey . This visa can be legally and easily acquired in Turkey as a "visa-upon-arrival"
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport can get a visa at the point of entry in to Turkey if the purpose of the trip is pleasure, business or attending a meeting. The visa fee upon entry is US$60 or €45. This visa allows the holder to stay in Turkey for a maximum of ninety (90) days and is valid for multiple entries during that period.
Cruise ship passengers cruising in and out of a Turkish port within a single day do not require a tourist visa. This applies to multiple stops at multiple ports in Turkey.

Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa: European Union (EU); Argentina, Bolivia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Croatia, El Salvador, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, Iran, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea Rep, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Macau, Macedonia FYROM, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uruguay, Vatican.
Nationals of the following countries need a visa which can be purchased at the airport upon arrival: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, CANADA, Estonia, Georgia, Greek Cypriot Administrative Region, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, UK, Ukraine, USA.
All other nationals will need a visa.
BUSINESS VISA - TOURIST VISA
Single Entry Visa, valid for 90 days
Processing: 3 working days $75
Multiple Entry Visa, valid for 90 days
Processing: 3 working days $178
TRANSIT VISA
If the connecting flight to the third country does not require an overnight stay in Turkey, then no visa is necessary. Turkey does not issue Airport Transit Visas (ATV).
Transit Visa, valid for one stay up to thirty days
